Warsaw Community High School Marching Band has been selected to participate in the 1989 Indianapolis 500 Parade May 27. The band will be one of only 23 bands from throughout the United States that will be in the parade.
Brent Lewis Kaiser, son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Kaiser, Rt. 2, Milford, was recently notified that he is to be featured in the eighth annual edition of Who's Who Among American High School Students, 1973-74.
James Crouch, North Webster, was the guest of honor at a pot-luck dinner given at his home in celebration of his 96th birthday anniversary on Saturday. Others present for the occasion were: Mr. and Mrs. Tim Crouch and granddaughter, Peggy, Mr. and Mrs. Sim Lawallen and Mrs. Stanley Miller.
Three candidates were initiated into the Women's Auxiliary of the John C. Peterson Post American Legion on Friday evening. Those taking the work were Mrs. Roy Bowen, Mrs. Donald Lessig and Mrs. Dale Rigdon. Arrangements were made for the annual poppy day to be observed the Saturday before Decoration day.
