    Lisa A. Burgh, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Burleigh Burgh, Warsaw, will graduate from International Business College on April 23. She has had a 4.0 grade point average and has been named to the National Dean's List.

    Ted Pinnick, Warsaw Tiger golfer, showed his dismay at missing a short putt in action at the third green during Northern Lakes Conference action with Concord Wednesday. Pinnick regained his touch on the following holes to match Denny Hepler for medalist honors with a 37.

    Rumors that several Warsaw factories are closing down permanently has been checked and found to be without basis in fact. Stan Arnolt, president of Arnolt Corp., says his Republic Tube plant recently made extensive lay-offs, a process of cutting-back production to fit orders. Arnold says the "settling-down" era is now here, that manufacturers must keep hiring in line with orders and build for a permanent peace-time economy.

    First mushrooms of the season were on display in a show window at Peru where they attracted a big crowd. They were very small. Warsaw mushroom fans have not yet located or reported any.
