    Capturing a victory in a playoff, the team of Rick Morris, Don Smith, Steve Hoesel and Bob Sandy won the warm up scramble at Rozella Ford.

The winning team shot a 62 as did the runner-up foursome of Amos Poe, Tom Fitzpatrick, George Slabaugh and Chris Shaw.

    SCHOFIELD BARRACKS, Hawaii - Ted E. Taylor, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert S. Taylor, Rt. 3, Warsaw, recently was promoted to Army specialist four while serving with the 25th Infantry Division at Schofield Barracks, Hawaii.

Spec. Taylor is a mechanic with Headquarters Battery, 1st Battalion of the division's 8th Field Artillery.

    One of the hens in the flock of William Kuhn, residing at Claypool, presented him with a peculiarly shaped Easter egg, about two inches in length and half an inch in diameter, and the shape of a peanut.
