    For the second time in four years a Warsaw Community High School basketball player has chosen to continue his playing days in the state of North Carolina.

Jason Zimmerman will follow Rick Fox to the tobacco state. He has signed a national letter of intent to attend Davidson University.

April 20 1975

    A Warsaw man literally stole the show at the state bowling tournament in Marion. In the third game of the singles events, Edgar Clark Jr., Rt. 1, bowled 12 straight strikes for a 300 game. Clark's other games were 189 and 175 for a 664 series.

For his efforts, Clark received a diamond ring from the American Bowling Congress and a watch from tournament sponsors for the highest single game.

April 20 1950

    George Fisher, Warsaw High School athletic director, is one of four high school football coaches invited to officiate the fourth annual Cream and Crismon day intrasquad game at Indiana University on May 6. Others invited by Indiana Athletic Director Paul J. Harrell are Fred Huff, Bloomington; Russell Deal, Hobart; and John Janzaruk, LaPorte.

April 20 1925

    The Syracuse blue lodge celebrated its fiftieth anniversary at Masonic Hall, Syracuse, when about 85 members of the lodge were present at an elaborate banquet, followed by an impressive program.

Ed Miles, the only charter member of the Syracuse blue lodge now living, was present. Among those present were members of the blue lodge of Milford and Cromwell.
