    Connie Klotz, president of the NorthWood High School Chapter of the Future Homemakers of America, was recently elected to be a state FHA officer representing District II (five area counties) for 1977-78,

Connie is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Klotz Jr., Rt. 2, Nappanee.

    Christy Lawshe was presented with a Girl Scout Brownie pin at the meeting of Brownie troop No. 11 held recently at the high school armory on East Main Street. Mrs. George Henderson is the troop leader.

April 19 1927

    An oratorical contest was held at Warsaw High School. The orations were on the subject "The Constitution of the United States." Edna Stevens won first place and Margaret Gilliam second. Miss Stevens will represent Warsaw at the county contest to be held in the near future. Judges were Rev. J.T. Bean, John Sloane and Everett Rasor.
