    A letter, addressed to Mrs. Kermit Rothenberger, Warsaw, was recently found in a trunk of a deceased woman on the east coast that was written by her husband 44 years ago while serving in World War II. A "gray lady" was given the letter to mail but somehow forgot about it. Mrs. Rothenberger, (now Donna Norwood) has since remarried, but gladly accepted the delayed mail.

    The weekly grocery specials at Ditto Supermarket, appeared in April 19, 1972, issue of the Times-Union as follows: Two-pound can of coffee, 99-cents; three rolls of ScotTowels, 69-cents; lo-fat milk, 79-cents per gallon; bananas, 10-cents per pound.

    Notice of certain impending events by exercise of vocal cords is still required by mossy statutes. PErhaps the best known is the "Hear ye, hear ye, the polls are now open," which ushers in each election day.

    Fine monogram sweaters will be awarded to the Warsaw High School athletes in recognitio of their representation of the school. 18 boys of the football team and basketball team, have won the coveted award this year.
