A local woman has been initiated into the Indiana State University chapter of Phi Kappa Phi honor society.
Lance Clay, a 1974 Warsaw Community High School graduate and for two years a member of the Anderson College golf team, has been hired as assistant pro at Orchard Ridge Country Club, Fort Wayne.
Glen Morehead, student at Indiana University, will appear with the university symphony band which will be on tour during the coming week. Morehead, who was graduated last year from Warsaw High School, is the second chair cornetist with the band. He is a freshman in the school of business administration at the university. His parents are Mr. and Mrs. Warren Morehead, of East Center Street.
During the month of March a very interesting exhibit of bird houses was given at the public library. A prize for the best workmanship was awarded to Daly Gast. The library records show an attendance of 5,500 for the month of March and 38,000 in attendance since the first of last July.
