    The month of March marked the retirement of Wilbur L. Buchanan and Thomas Walters from the Warsaw plant of Kimble Glass. These two employees combined tenure represents 51 years and two months of dedicated service to the company.

    Triton three-sport star Jeff Brunk officially announced his intention to attend Ball State University on a football scholarship at a special ceremony Wednesday morning. His parents are Barbara and Darwin.

April 12 1952

    Rev. and Mrs. Carl Sorensen, Syracuse, were recently honored each with a bar of recognition for 10 years service with the American Red Cross in Noble County. Rev. Sorensen served as executive secretary and home service and Mrs. Sorensen as assistant and staff aide.

April 12 1927

    Prosecuting Attorney William G. Loehr has received a report from the Missouri State experiment station that he has received three ribbons for prize laying White Wyandotte hens. During the past month three hens laid each 30, 26 and 25 eggs a month and the entire pen of six hens 151 eggs for March.
