Robert W. Brown of Milford was honored at the 1995 Indiana United Way Leaders Conference March 31. He was selected as the recipient of the Robert M. Ellison Volunteer Award for Kosciusko County and honored as a "Volunteer of the Year" in Indianapolis.
The winners in the coloring contest held during last weekend's Home and Sport Show were announced this week. They are: Michael Younce, Grand Prize winner Debra Deckys, Laura Rogers, Kent Zimmerman, Robin Lemons, Roy Bratton, Jeff Anderson, Beth Acord, Justin Johnson, Rene King, Adam Ulrey, Michael Brickner and Amy Roy.
Max E. Goshert, of East Main Street, Warsaw, has been elected to membership in the Indiana University chapter of Beta Gamma Sigma, the nation's top honorary business society. The society restricts membership to the upper 4 percent of the junior class, the upper 10 percent of the senior class and an equally distinguished group of graduate students. Goshert is a senior in the I.U. school of business.
Stuart Van Dyke, of Winona Lake, will represent Kosciusko County in the district contest of the 17th annual state high school discussion league contest which is sponsored by the Indiana University extension division.
