    Biomet is ranked as one of the top 20 corporations for shareholders by the United Shareholders Association in the area of corporate responsiveness.

Biomet was ranked 18th in a list of 1,000 top major corporations. The rankings were based on economic performance, adherence to shareholders' rights, and management compensation and stock ownership.

    After 33 years service in government employment, Robert Fuller has retired from the Warsaw Post Office. Of the 33 years, Fuller served four years in the U.S. Navy during World War II, served as a postal clerk at the local post office for 10 years, and for the past 19 years delivered the mail on Route 1.

    Clifford Ring, conservation officer in Kosciusko Country, announced that 184 pheasants would be released in this county tomorrow.

    Marjory Ferry, 18, Akron, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. P.L. Ferry, a student at Oklahoma City College of Fine Arts, was recently awarded first position in a state musical contest held at Ardmore, Okla. Ferry is a vocalist of unusual talent and has been heard frequently from Oklahoma stations.
