Warsaw swimming standout Cathy Lundin was recently honored as an All-American performer by the National Interscholastic Swim Coaches Association. The WCHS junior was a first-team pick with the fifth-fastest time in the country in the 100-yard. butterfly event with a time of 55.95. Lundin, a school-record holder in four events, also had the 27th fastest time in the nation in the 200 IM and the 38th best effort among high school swimmers in the 100 breaststroke. The Lady Tigers All-American finished second in the 100 breaststroke race and third in the 100 butterfly event at the State Finals this season.
Raymond L. Green, 57, assistant principal at Huntington North High School, will be principal of Warsaw Community High School starting July 1.
Elma Lu Hess and Cloyd Dye Jr., Warsaw, and Nancy Godshalk, Leesburg, were among the 22 students who made straight A's during the winter term at Manchester College it was announced today by Dr. Earl S. Garver, dean of the college.
