The Wednesday afternoon ladies bridge winners were Virginia Horn, Margret Stutzman, Doris Kessler and Dorothy Sweeney. The Wednesday evening mixed couples bridge winners were Dory Wright, Dawn Hoffman, Nancy Hangen, Liz Frazetta, Elim Smith, Virginia Horn, Jim Loser and Walter Martin.

This is a recipe submitted to the Spotlight Recipe Contest for Meat Loaf.
1 lb. hamburger; 1 egg; 1 slice of bread (broken in pieces); onion to taste; 1 tsp. Worchestershire sauce; 1 tsp. salt; 1/4 cup milk. Topping: 2 tsp. sugar; 1 tsp. mustard, fill with catsup to 1/2 cup. Mix first ingredients together, putting 1/2 of topping in the meatloaf and the rest on the top. Bake at 325 degrees approximately 1-1/2 hours. Kathy Stanley, Warsaw

Winona Lake is making new additions to its post office. The small town of 2,000 has a first-class post office because of the numerous organizations there that have worldwide scope. Now, they have added a conveyer belt that is portable to make life easier on Postmaster Phil Laurien and his workers, who handle more mail in one day than any other city, except Warsaw, in this mailing district.

Dale Tripp, formerly of Warsaw, now manager of the Wolf and Dessauer Beauty shop in Fort Wayne, has recently been sent by the management to New York City to take a two weeks’ training course in beauty culture.
Alfred Shane will go to the Ozark mountains where he will make his home this winter.
