Two longtime Kosciusko County Republicans were honored recently for their efforts in furthering the party.
The Kosciusko County Firemen's Association recently honored their own at the annual fish fry at the fairgrounds. Bill Price, Etna Green, received the Fireman of the Year award.
Walter Jacobs, of Bourbon, showed a champion 3-year-old Holstein that won honors at the Bourbon Fair. The animal is owned by MacIntyre and Stoneburner, of Bourbon.
The Abshire Oil Co., at the corner of Market and Washington streets, has installed a new mechanical gasoline pump. The pump will regulate the number of gallons going into a car and also will compute the exact price for the amount of gasoline purchased. The pump will compute the price of any odd number of gallons or fraction.
