Ernest Ross, of the United Telephone Companies, won the Warsaw Daily Times golf trophy cup awarded for handicap tournament play at the Warsaw Country Club. At noon it was found that Ross and Milo Maloy, superintendent of the county infirmary, had turned in low scores for a tie. In the afternoon play-off, an additional 18 holes played in the rain, resulted in victory by two strokes for Ross.
