He also donned an American Navy uniform. Rob Reed, Winona Lake, won the Red Chili in Evansville in March. He began as a computer operator Sept. 18, 1969, and worked his way up to programmer Nov. 15, 1988. Antonides graduated from Mentone High School in 1967. Rainbow Real Estate, 2132 E. Owner-broker Elaine Grill says the “real estate maximums” franchise has more than 1,600 offices and 25,000 sales associates across the United States and Canada, with the international headquarters in Denver, Colo. Little Crow Foods will soon be watching the 10 millionth bottle of its Fast Shake Pancake Mix come off the line. Fast Shake, the world’s first pancake mix in a plastic bottle, was introduced in 1985 (add water, shake and pour). “We listened to consumers,” commented Dennis Fuller, president. 50 Years Ago Marcella McKibbin, Warsaw, represents the employees of Playtime Products, 442 N. Detroit St., as she presents a “money buggy” to Katherine Stine, Etna Green. Stine was an employee for five years before becoming ill. The employees decorated one of their doll carriages with money. Mrs. Terry Klondaris, 1308 Ranch Rd., Warsaw, and her children return to school next week. She teaches first-grade at Lincoln School; Mike, 12, will be a seventh-grader; Cindy, 10, will be in the fifth-grade at Washington Elementary; and Kacy, 7, a second-grader at Washington. Now under the direction of Captain and Mrs. Donald Hickey, the Warsaw Salvation Army serves the county’s needs at 501 E. Arthur St. The Army has been in Kosciusko County since 1921 and in the United States since 1880. 75 Years Ago A rodeo June 29 at Pel Clayton’s Riding Academy, Syracuse, has been entered by riding horses from the stables of Paul Bilby, Buck Smith, Robert Thompson, of Warsaw, and Joe Parker, of Silver Lake, among a dozen others from northern Indiana counties. The Times has decided to equip one of its automobiles with grappling hooks, life preservers, rope, hawsers, blankets, first-aid equipment, flood lights, flares and numerous other items necessary to save lives. The “emergency car” is meant to supplement that of the city of Warsaw rescue squad. The car is available 24 hours a day, any place in the county.
