Firefighting runs in the family for Warsaw Fire Department's two newest recruits.
POTPOURRI - State Fair Winners - Brad and Adam Craig, the sons of Mr. and Mrs. James Craig, Pierceton, were recently named the Champion Senior Showman and Reserve Champion Junior Showman (respectively) in the Landrace Swine Division at the Indiana State Fair. Both youths attend Whitko High School.
Amanda Imus, 99, of Tippecanoe, was awarded $100 at the recent world championship rodeo sponsored by the Fort Wayne IOOF Lodge.
Keith Doran and Porter Williamson of Burket have gone to Bloomington where they are enrolled as students at Indiana University. Doran is taking up medicine and Williamson is studying law.
