In a single day, setting up their small 22-inch McCormick-Deering separator on five different farms, a total of 1,600 bushels of oats were threshed by the Bone Prairie Threshing Co. Morgan Bixler operated the separator, the smallest made with only a 22-inch cylinder, at the farms of Ed Troup, George Wable, Bert Christman, Charles Beatty and Harry Beatty, near Oswego.

In the past 11-1/2 days the operators of this threshing machine report threshing 13,000 bushels. Yesterday's record run started at 8 a.m. and ended shortly after 6 p.m. The machine is a new model recently sold to the threshing company by Carl Shroyer of Sharp Hardware Store, Warsaw.
