Rachel Engelberth Alexander and her rowing partner, BJ Connelly, of Seattle, Wash., competed Aug. 23-25, 2001, in the Zurich Scudders National Masters Rowing Regatta in Indianapolis, winning gold medals in all six events they entered. This is the third consecutive year Alexander and Connelly have swept at their races with six first-place wins in the National Masters Regatta. Alexander grew up on a farm in Kosciusko County and was graduated from Whitko High School in 1977. She began rowing crew when she attended college at Seattle Pacific University.

People aren't only Wandering Indiana, they're also discovering Kosciusko County in increasing numbers. During the past two years, the Greater Warsaw Chamber of Commerce has provided about 38 organized tours of the county. And with the advent of the inn keepers tax and a convention and visitors bureau, officials suggest that number can only improve.

Robert R. Neff, son of Mr. and Mrs. Royal R. Neff, Claypool, and a 1950 graduate of Claypool High School, has been appointed as an instructor in American history at Butler University in Indianapolis. His wife is the former Marilyn J. Aschliman, of North Manchester. They have two daughters, Michelle and Deborah, ages 5 and 2 years. The Neff family reside in Indianapolis.

Warsaw-Winona water sports team composed of Paul Lowman, Dan Polk and Miss Leah Parks, have been engaged to stage their stunts at Edgerton, Wis., on Labor Day. Lowman has contracted to transfer from a surf board to a rope ladder suspended below a flying airplane, as the climaxing thriller.
