Warsaw car dealer Dan Rice, of Rice Ford, was spied at the Mad Anthony's Pro-Am Golf Tournament, held recently at the Fort Wayne Country Club, cavorting with the outspoken conservative pundit Rush Limbaugh.
Mike Buehle, a two-year regular on the Warsaw Community High School golf team, has signed a letter of intent to play golf at Indiana Central University. Buehle is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Carl F. Buehle.
Michael R. (Mike) Williams, of Warsaw, is among the approximately 1,500 cadets from 35 colleges and universities in six southeastern states and Massachusetts and Puerto Rico attending the Fort Benning, Ga., ROTC summer camp. Mike, who attended Florida Southern college, is the son of Mr. and Mrs. C.R. (Reub) Williams, of Country Club Drive.
With the completion recently of alterations and improvements, which have been under way for the past three weeks, the Winona Lake boat house and pier has officially opened the 1934 boating season, also displaying to the public for the first time the newly installed barge and landing.
