"There will be no more girl shows or gambling for money at any fairs in Kosciusko County, either at Syracuse, Pierceton or anywhere else," Sheriff Virgil Yeager announced recently.

Yeager expressed his approval of the action taken by Mayor C.C. DuBois, backed by the city council, in which the mayor announced that "wide open" fairs in Warsaw are a thing of the past. When informed of this action by a Warsaw newspaper reporter, Yeager said, "Is that right? Well, that goes for the balance of the county, too. If Warsaw does that, there will be the same action taken in the balance of the county."
