Shot in downtown Warsaw by the Times roving cameraman, this happy group of Warsaw and Mentone youths were about to return to Mentone on the town’s ancient “Model T” fire truck following a town-wide celebration in which two newlywed Mentone couples, Mr. & Mrs. Frank Warren and Mr. & Mrs. Walter Fenstermaker, were feted. The couples were driven 13 miles to Warsaw from Mentone on the venerable firefighter where many local people and friends of the newlyweds joined in the “belling.” Mr. Warren is the genial town marshal in Mentone and Mr. Fenstermaker is the popular high school coach there.
