Adam Masterson of Boy Scout Troop 730 completed his Eagle Scout project on Aug. 4. His project was to clean up a building on Argonne Road that was purchased by Roz Morgan, director of Our Father’s House. The building is intended to be a shelter for homeless men, a soup kitchen and the center of client services. On Aug. 4, Masterson and a group of Scouts and others worked on the building. Lunch, bottled water, paint masks, soft drinks and even heavy equipment were donated upon Masterson’s request. The project fulfilled the Eagle Scout requirement that the Scout must organize a large project that will help benefit the community.
