Robert Zimmer, 9-year-old grandson of Mr. and Mrs. William Keller, of Warsaw, was rescued from a Pennsylvania fast freight at Plymouth by Pennsylvania Detective James Jones and the sheriff of Marshall County.

According to Detective Jones, the boy boarded a westbound freight while it was taking water at the Selby Siding, west of Warsaw. As the train passed through Etna Green, a track walker of the railroad saw the boy 20 cars back from the locomotive hanging on top of a freight car. Telegraphing to Plymouth railroad officials stopped the train and Jones and the sheriff rescued the boy.
