    The musical "Carousel" was performed on the familiar round Wagon Wheel Theatre stage. Julie Jordan, played by Jennie Eisenhower, sang "If I Loved You". She is the daughter of David Eisenhower and Julie Nixon and granddaughter of President Richard Nixon and great-granddaughter of President Dwight Eisenhower.

    Following a recent hearing by the Public Service Commission, rates for Kosciusko County's REMC members could drop by 10.57 percent.

The Wabash Valley Power Association has filed with the PSC to change the way it figures electricity rates for its 24 REMCs. The request comes after Northern Indiana Public Service Co. agreed to let the WVPA bring in cheaper power from utilities outside Indiana over NIPSCO lines.

    Mr. and Mrs. Karl J. Nice and daughter, Kathy Jean, Warsaw, will be flying to Hawaii early in July to visit Mrs. Nice's parents. They will do some sightseeing and then go on to Guam where Nice will be teaching in a school for naval dependents the next two years.

    Extensive alterations are almost completed for the enlargement and improvement of the Winona Lake boat house and municipal landing, according to Capt. Ed Hackett, who is in charge of the boating concessions at the local lake. The old pier was partially torn down and rebuilt completely, and in addition the boat house has been moved about 15 feet nearer the water. Both the pier and buildings were damaged by the ice last winter.
