    Jordan Leigh Fuller, 5-year-old daughter of Kevin and Barbi Fuller, of Warsaw, was chosen as a state finalist in the Miss Indiana American Princess Pageant.

The pageant, for girls ages 3-6, will take place in Indianapolis.

    Terri Clark and Missy Herndon, both of the Kosciusko Community YMCA team, won swimming events in the White River Park State Games recently.

Clark captured the 50-meter backstroke in the girls open division and Herndon, competing in the 13-14 age group, was first in the 200 individual medley.

    Lloyd D. Holbrook, son of Mrs. Jim Slater, 317 S. Indiana St., has been promoted to staff sergeant at Thule, Greenland, where he is serving with an air rescue squadron. Holbrook hopes to study law when he comes home for discharge in September.

    A bird dog owned by Jesse Jones, Warsaw, barber residing near Palestine, is the mother of a litter of 10 puppies, all of which are males. The litter is more than twice the usual number. That they are all males is more unusual in that such an occurrence does not happen once in a million times.
