    The Kosciusko County 4-H Dairy Judging Team, Justin Moneyheffer, Justin McCullough, Jaime Moneyheffer and Rob Schlipf, recently competed at the 4-H/FFA State Dairy Judging contest at Purdue University. In individual competition, Schlipf was third overall and first in oral reason; McCullough was fifth; and Justin Moneyheffer was eighth-place individual. As a team, they finished second in the 4-H contest and qualified to compete at the All-American Dairy Judging contest in Harrisburg, Pa., in September.

    Grace College Professor and Times-Union outdoor writer John Davis is preparing for a trip to Jordan, his ninth archaeology dig. Davis will spend the summer near the Israeli-Syria border directing Roman tomb excavation.

    The senior honor group in the 4-H achievement contest left for a one-day trip to Chicago as guests of the Lake City Bank of Warsaw.

Among the activities planned for this bus load of 4-H boys and girls will be a visit to the Federal Reserve bank of Chicago.
