Lawrence Mort recently was awarded the Maurice F. Brosnahan award for outstanding citizenship at Pierceton. The award was presented to Mort During a Pierceton Commercial club dinner.
Mrs. Frank Cox, of west of Warsaw, entertained members of the Warsaw Garden Club. There was a large number in attendance. An annual plant exchange was held, following which Mrs. J. W. Scott gave chapters six and seven of the study book "Landscape Gardening."
