Lindsay Schwartz, the 18-year-old daughter of Bob and Diana Schwartz, of North Webster, was named winner of the Miss Kosciusko Scholarship Pageant. She will represent Kosciusko County in the 1999 Miss Indiana Pageant next June. The winner of that pageant continues on to the 1999-Miss America Pageant.
LEESBURG - Jason Davidson of Leesburg was the winning skipper in the Junior regatta held at Tippecanoe Lake. Another local winner, J.B. VanMeter, of Leesburg, was third.
Mrs. Nelson Cook, of Bourbon, has been awarded a special certificate of merit by the Winona School of Photography.
ROCHESTER - Two brothers were reunited her after having been separated 46 years, when Ola Hanson of Alexander, Minn., visited brother, John Hanson, farmer, who lives near here. The brothers separated when they came to this country from Sweden.
