The County Fair board has managed the county fair into a successful event. The Chicago Cubs are on their way to a pennant. The gasoline prices are on their way down. I find myself with almost nothing to complain about. Am I still alive? Bob Plummer, Warsaw via e-mail.

Carl W. Lofgren, attending the School of Photography, Winona Lake, is unique in the fact that he has a hobby, which, so far as anyone knows, is the only one of its kind in existence. Lofgren calls himself a "likeness-hunter" and has in his files already more than 1,700 doubles. Just last Sunday, one of the photographers at the school photographed a girl bathing in Center Lake. When Lofgren saw the picture, he noticed immediately her resemblance to the late Marilyn Miller, star of stage and screen. The name of the girl is not known and the photographers have thus far searched in vain for her.
