    Pfc. Eric Baker, a 1998 graduate of Warsaw Community High School, left recently for advanced individual training for the U.S. Army Reserves at Fort Jackson, S.C. Baker is the son of Terry and Linda Baker, Silver Lake.

July 21 1933

    Fish stories are fishy stores, but the rarest one to be reported to The Times this season was the experience of Joe Funk at Muskellunge Lake. While casting off shore Joe spied a water moccasin about 30 feet from land, swimming flauntingly toward shore with a 7 inch Perca fluviatilis in its aperture. Fortunately Joe's wife was on hand with a shotgun which figured highly in disposing of the water mocassin and the releasing of the bass.
