10 Years Ago Plans to build a Walgreens store on the site bordered by Argonne Road on the east, Market Street on the south, South Roosevelt Street on the west, and Center Street on the north have been approved by the Warsaw Board of Zoning Appeals and Warsaw Plan Commission. The store will be 14,560 square feet. An abandoned nursing home sits on the northwest corner of the block. The BZA’s approval was based on a report by Ken Herceg and Associates to change the Parker Street-Center Street-Argonne Road intersection. Traffic and safety are the main concerns of the Plan Commission. 25 Years Ago Debra Collier’s School of Dance will present “New York, New York” Friday and Saturday at the Warsaw Community High School auditorium. The dancers are members of the school’s performing group, “Class Act.” They will be performing “If My Friends Could See Me Now.” Dancers are Sandy Brelsford, Michelle Danner, Tressa Felke, Laura White, Lori Rigsby and Carol Maull. 50 Years Ago Times-Union Carriers of the Month are John Mauk, 12, and Tim Mauk,13, sons of Mr. & Mrs. Leo Mauk, 942 E.
