A second raise in the price of bread is imminent in Warsaw, it was learned from grocers, as bakers plan to make a raise because of the new government processing tax going into effect. A month ago bread was selling for 7 cents a loaf with three loaves for 20 cents. For the past month the wage earner has been compelled to pay 8 cents a loaf or two loaves for 15 cents.

It is figured that the tax, to be paid by the processor, the miller, will amount to three quarters of a cent for a pound and a half loaf of bread.
