Warsaw Community High School gave away two computers, donated by Biomet, to two A-average students at the school's Renaissance Recognition Convocation May 27. The lucky computer winners were Cady Clevenger and Kelli Getz.
Winners in the Lake Theatre's Breakdancing contest recently were Tom Moreno (third place), Sherlock Harrison (first place) and Sean Smith (second place).
Students at Syracuse chose Miss Brenda Stabler, 16, to compete as "Miss Syracuse" in the North Webster Mermaid Festival "Queen of Lakes" contest. Brenda is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lester Stabler.
Mrs. W. R. Wones and Miss Rosalyn Wones returned Sunday evening from Delaware, Ohio, where they attended commencement exercises for Ohio Wesleyan college. Miss Wones will go Tuesday morning to Chicago, where she is employed doing settlement work, after visiting for the past 10 days with her mother.
