    The Warsaw Community Public Library Board, acting on the recommendation of Library Director Ann Zydek, gave its authorization to modify the hours of operation.

Zydek said a recent utilization study showed more hours were needed early in the week and less were needed near the weekend.

    Rob Randels, son of Gloria and Robert Randels, has become the third senior starter on Warsaw Community High School's state championship basketball team to sign a letter of intent to play college ball.

The 6 foot, 4 inches forward announced that he will attend Glen Oaks Community College in Centreville, Mich. Glen Oaks is a junior college that last season posted a 22-8 record.

    Friends of Gerald "Dingy" Phillips will be glad to learn he's back at this old stand (cutting meat at Robinson's Market downtown). "Dingy," who has worked in and out of Robinson's for more than 20 years, has spent three years in California vicinity of L.A.

    Miss Grace Croxall will return from Beaver Dam, Wis., where she taught during the winter at the Hillcrest School for Girls, to visit with her parents, Dr. and Mrs. C. B. Croxall, of Warsaw. In a few weeks, Miss Croxall will go to Northwestern University, where she will begin studying for her master's degree.
