Whitko High School’s Production of “Arsenic and Old Lace” is a comedy to die for. The play will be in the WHS auditorium May 16 and 17 at 7 p.m. Tickets are $5.00 and available from cast members or at the door. Thirteen students and one “mystery cast member” fill the roles. The play is directed by Dawn Hinthorn.
      “Harvey” hops to the stage at Northwood High School: The Drama Club is presenting its production May 16 and 17 at 7:30 p.m. and May 18 at 2:30 p.m. in the Northwood auditorium. Tickets are $5.00 for adults and $4.00 for students. Advance tickets will be sold as well as be available at the door.

The Kosciusko County Extension Homemaker’s Spring Achievement program will be held at the Warsaw Wesleyan Church. The theme is “Take Time--Little Things Mean A Lot.” Seven members will be honored for 50-year memberships. Also, 61 new members will be presented. Officers for the 1988-89 year will be installed: Louise Nichols, president; Carol Baker, president elect; Carlyn Cox, first vice president; Doris Hackworth, second vice president; Gerry Pickett, secretary; Betty Ford, assistant secretary; Betty Hinton, treasurer; Katie Goshert, assistant treasurer; and Doris Ann Slaymaker, past president.

The Warsaw Kiwanis Club noon luncheon meeting Thursday featured colored slides on “bull-fighting” shown by Dr. William Cron, local physician. Dr. Cron is well versed on the sport, adding comments while showing the slides. Sam Henderson served as program chairman. Bruce Fagerstrom led group singing with Orval Johnston at the piano. Guests at the luncheon held at the civic center were Joe Mendenhall, Ted Tinkey, and Larry Kneller, all of Warsaw. They were introduced by Earl Ketrow.
       Styles of “Yesterday and Today” were featured at a recent meeting of the Winona Literary Club held in the Rainbow Room of the Westminister Hotel with Mrs. John Bullock as hostess and narrated by Betty Lou Latta of Kline’s Department Store.
