    Carolyn Yarger was presented a quilt when she retired after 26 years of teaching at Madison Elementary School. The quilt was presented at a special luncheon recently at the school. The quilt squares contain the names of 87 staff members of the school.

    Elizabeth Galbreath, Lenora Dawson and Maude Yontz, of Pierceton, and Mary Knoop, of this city, left for Chicago, where they will attend the Century of Progress for one week.
