The piece, written by Woods, tells how he loves to cook and has ever since he was a child. A recipe for Noa Noa Grilled Sea Bass is also included. Woods drives a 1974 Volkswagen Westfalia Camper when he hauls around loads of seafood, vegetables and cooking supplies. 25 Years Ago The word community was stressed Saturday night in the dedication ceremony at the Freshman High School for the new Warsaw Community Pool, which had famed Indiana University swimming coach James “Doc” Counsilman as the featured speaker. Both Counsilman and Warsaw Schools Superintendent Dr. Larry Crabb addressed the large gathering, Pool Director Dennis Holder gave the opening and closing messages and the Rev. Jerry Twombly performed the invocation. 50 Years Ago Dr. Byron Lemson, of Winona Lake, left by plane from Chicago recently for Los Angeles where he will deliver the baccalaureate address at the Los Angeles Pacific College. Dr. Lemson will speak on the topic “Christ and History.” He will return to Warsaw on June 7. Warsaw firemen made a hurried departure from the Memorial Day parade when they answered an alarm to a car fire near Dalton Foundries. Two of the three trucks which responded to the alarm rejoined the parade. 75 Years Ago Miss Eulalia Everhard has arrived back home in Warsaw after spending the winter in Florida. Enroute home she stopped off at Washington, D.C. where she attended public sessions of the U.S. Supreme Court and visited her brother, Ambrose.
