    Willie Ward shot a hole-in-one at the Stonehendge Executive Course. He aced hole No. 2, a 115-yard hole, with a six-iron.

Witnesses included Dave Liverance and Rod Hartley. What some people don't do once in their lives, Ward has done three times. The hole-in-one is the third time Ward has accomplished the feat.

    ETNA GREEN - Nine children of Mrs. Bram (Ruth) Miner, Etna Green, surprised her with a "This Is Your Life" presentation during the annual Mother-Daughter Banquet at the Etna Green United Methodist Church.

She sat in the same rocker she used when raising her children.

    Two talented young water skiers here have received applications from the nation's famed Tommy Bartlett water stunters' show for tryouts this summer. Recipients are attractive 17-year-old Jean Shue, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jay Shue, of Winona Lake, and Robert "Bob" Poor, son of Mrs. Lloyd Poor, of East Market Street.

    Gladys Moon and Wilma Cochern, known as the Warsaw "Sing-Song" girls, will present a half-hour Mothers Day program Sunday afternoon over station WCMA at Culver. Among the selections they will sing will be "Evening Song," music of which was composed by Mrs. Charles A. Butler. They will be accompanied at the piano by Marjorie Baker.
