For more than a year, Warsaw city officials have wrestled with the idea of selling the Richardson-DuBois Park on Market Street. The decision to sell has finally been made. The Redevelopment Commission agreed during Monday's meeting to get the process started immediately. A special meeting May 23 has been called by the commission in order to examine the proposed bid form. The commission plans to have the two ball diamonds moved to the City/County Athletic Complex. Additionally, 200 feet at the east end of the park will be reserved for a neighborhood park.

Dytronics Inc., a major producer of die-stamped printed circuits for the automotive and electronics industries, will purchase the former Milford Machine Company plant in Leesburg. The purchase will be consummated in early May and the move will be made shortly thereafter. "We have out-grown our present facilities in Rochester, Michigan. Leesburg was chosen because it has the labor force and facilities we need to continue the expansion of the company. The area is strategically located to serve our markets." Applications for employment will be accepted at the Leesburg plant beginning May 15. The company should be in full operation by the end of July.
