 Two area wrestlers recently took home triple crown honors in folkstyle, freestyle and greco state wrestling. Jared Brooks, Warsaw, earned the honor in the 50 midget division, while Ryan Yocum of Whitko won the 105 school boy division in Indianapolis.

 Stephanie Green, a freshman music performance major at Huntington College, has been awarded a summer study scholarship funded by the annual Huntington College Boare’s Head Festival. Green, who will be studying with the noted Argentine composer and pianist Pia Sebastiani for her summer program, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Junior Green of Warsaw.

 Three area residents – two from Kosciusko County – have been picked to help represent Indiana in the “People to People” program this summer, which will include assisting in the instruction of Russian farmers in their trade. John Frederick, of Atwood; Cletus Griffith, of Etna Green; and Roy Swanson, of Plymouth, will participate in a 22-day trip representing the program, which is under the direction of former President Eisenhower.

 Miss Mary Elizabeth Cromer, daughter of Rev. and Mrs. Frederick C.Cromer, Winona Lake, will receive the degree of master of religious education from the Biblical Seminary in New York.
