A local barber shop has announced a new scale of prices, something like this: Haircut - A-1, superspecial, 35 cents; haircut - A-2, commercial, 25 cents; haircut - A-3, sheep shear, 20 cents; Shave - A-1, expert work, vaseline job, 20 cents; shave - A-2, all off, crock job, 15 cents; shave - A-3, lather only, pull 'em off yourself, 10 cents; blackhead excavation, 5 cents per; cauterizing razor mistakes, race horse and stock market tips, free.

Under the first classification the shavee is permitted to murmur "Yes," or "Yes, sir," from underneath the hot towel, whenever the barber concludes his narrative or political economic discussion with the question, "Am I right?" Silence is mandatory under all other classifications.
