National Nursing Home Week is May 13-17. As part of the celebration, Mason Health Care invited 3- and 4-year-olds from Head Start to participate in a balloon lift recently. Warsaw Mayor Ernie Wiggins spoke to the group of Mason residents and Head start kids before everyone headed outside to let go of their balloons. Attached to each balloon was a Mason Health Care business card with a note on the back: “If found, please notify us.” It was a breezy day, so the balloons should go quite far.

With 495 entries, The Classic Car Centre’s $10,000 Classic Cruise and Fly In was the focus of attention for several thousand auto enthusiasts in Warsaw over the weekend. An estimated 2,000 people passed through the airport gates and thousands more lined the downtown parade route for the Sunday Finale – as spectators saw just how quickly a program in its infancy can grow.  The show was considered a success.
