    Donnette Lee Schumacher, Warsaw, is one of 209 poets whose poetry has been published in "Promises To Keep, Vol. VII.

A native of Silver Lake and living in Warsaw for six years, Schumacher's poem, "If I Never Went Through," was selected from a field of nearly 1,500 submissions.

    Selected as king and queen of the Triton High School prom were Scott Wagoner, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Wagoner, Bourbon, and Kristie Redman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jay Shively, Etna Green.

    Carolyn Haney has been named valedictorian, and Beverly Creighton salutatorian of the Atwood High School senior graduating class. Mr. and Mrs. Loyal Haney are the parents of Carolyn. Beverly's parents are Mr. and Mrs. Kermit Creighton.

    Harry Fawley, Ping Long and Ivan Harter did some mushroom seeking on Sunday and came home with six gallons as the result of their hunt. Fawley brought to The Times office the largest mushroom ever. It is round from the stem up, resembling a large apple in size and about 9 inches in circumference.
