    Jim Grubbs caught a 4-pound, 3-ounce, 21-inch largemouth bass at Center Lake using a nightcrawler.

James Hillard Hurd III caught a 6-pound, 8-ounce largemouth bass at Palestine Lake. James is the son of James Hillard Hurd II, Sellers Lake.

    The Fourth Annual Secretaries Luncheon was held at the Warsaw Holiday Inn last week, and Cheryl Ryman, a secretary at Washington Elementary School, was the winner of a MTI Vacation to Las Vegas for two. The trip, sponsored by ABC Travel Inc., and the Holiday Inn, is for three nights and four days and includes round trip air fare and hotel accommodations.
