    MUNCIE - Reanne VanScoik, a senior at Ball State University, was recognized by Friends of Bracken Library for her significant contributions to the efficient operation of the library.

VanScoik is majoring in elementary education. She is the daughter of Ernie and Donna VanScoik, Leesburg, and is a graduate of Warsaw Community High School.

April 9 1982

    The 1982 edition of "Who's Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges" will carry the names of 19 students from Pillsburgy Baptist Bible College, Owatonna, Minn., who have been selected as being among the country's most outstanding campus leaders.

Included among those students named is Chuck Circle, son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Circle, Warsaw.

April 9 1957

    Formation of a new scrap metal corporation here was announced by President Howard Levin, a former Warsawan, and his father, Myer Levin, veteran city scrap dealer. A third corporate officer is Michael Marks, son-in-law of Myer Levin.

The new firm known as Myer Levin & Son Inc., with offices located at 515 N. Detroit St., has purchased a large tract of land north of the city adjacent to state highway 15 south of the municipal airport where scrap metal will be compressed, bailed and shipped.

    Warsaw and Kosciusko County were represented at an educational conference for northern Indiana held at Manchester College, North Manchester, by James M. Leffel, city superintendent of schools, and Harry E. Lewallen, county superintendent of schools.
