Seventy-three years is a lifetime for some, but for Clarence and Mary Faust of Warsaw, that amount of time has simply been what they've spent together.
Faust and the former Mary Wiles exchanged wedding vows before the Rev. George W. Thomas at the South Ninth Street Methodist Church of Noblesville on April 6, 1925, and today (April 6) they will celebrate that special day with their family. Mrs. Faust is 89 and Mr. Faust is 94.

Chris Green, a 12th-grade student, and son of Mr. and Mrs. Junior Green, Warsaw, will be honored by the Indiana School for the Deaf at the seventh annual Speech Recognition Dinner.
The honored students are enrolled in speech classes in the school's communication center. Those students selected to attend have worked hard, maintained a good attitude, shown a desire to improve their communication skills and cooperated well throughout the school year.

Location of a R.R. Donnelley and Sons plant in Warsaw was virtually assured following a meeting between a representative of the firm, Mayor Jack Engle and a Pennsylvania Railroad official.
Harold M. Hanson, special project administrator for the Donnelley publishing firm, told Mayor Engle that the company definitely plans to locate in a $6 million plant just west of the city limits.

For the first time in 25 years, real beer was sold legally in Warsaw and Kosciusko County.
With a wet snow falling, a large truck load of beer under the direction of Ross Osborn, of Syracuse, county beer distributor, was delivering beer by cases in the Warsaw business district and also to beer drinkers in the residence section of the city.
