April 4 1998

    A video made by Craig Harman and Eric Heiman, students at Warsaw Community High School, will be shown Saturday and Wednesday by South Bend and Fort Wayne TV stations.

The video, "Leader of the Band," won first place in the statewide competition, Project XL, a statewide competition sponsored by Farm Bureau Insurance, in the video art category, and earned the best of show award.

    Jodi Keeton, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Keeton, Warsaw, and Norman Metzger, son of Mr. and Mrs. Norman E. Metzger, Leesburg, recently served as pages in the Indiana House of Representatives for Rep. Thames Mauzy. Jodi and Norm are juniors at Warsaw Community High School.

April 4 1958

    Jeanene Hartke, Sandra Shanbeck and For Chinworth placed first, second and third, respectively in the poster contest for National Library Week, sponsored by the Warsaw branch of the American Association of University women. Prizes were awarded by Mrs. Charles R. Wagner, a long member of the library board. Jeanene and Ford are freshmen. Sandra is an eight grader.

    The "All Kiddie program" which will be presented at the Strand Theatre April 6, was announced by Manager Boyce.

Mary Jane McKown, Warsaw, novelty sketch; Merl and Bobbie Bromfield, Warsaw, song and dance; Bobbie Howe, Winona Lake, instrument number; Etta Mae, William and Eileen Sarber, south of Burket, mandolins and guitar.
