10 Years Ago The Warsaw Biblical Gardens, in a world of its own at Central Park in Warsaw, offers visitors the unique opportunity to study plants enjoyed and used during Biblical times thousands of years ago. One of the largest and finest biblical gardens in the U.S., every effort has been made to achieve both botanical and historical accuracy. Filled with more than 150 plan species, not including various sub-species, the garden is situated on just under one acre.
25 Years Ago This recipe for Italian Beef Casserole was submitted in the Spotlight Foreign Recipe Contest: 1 pound hamburger; 1 cup chopped onion; 1 clove garlic, crushed; 2 cups cooked rice; 1 can cream of celery soup; 3/4 cup sour cream; 1-1/2 tsp. salt; 2 cups mozzarella cheese, grated; 1 (10) oz. package brussel sprouts, cooked, drained and cut in half lengthwise (may substitute chopped broccoli). Sauté meat, onion and garlic. Sir in rice, soup, sour cream, seasonings and 3/4 cup of the cheese. Add brussel sprouts with remaining cheese. Sprinkle with paprika.
