    After a teaching career spanning 39 years in Warsaw, Robert W. Lichtenwalter will be putting away his textbooks for a final time at the end of this school year.

He plans to devote full time to his position as executive director of the Bakers Boys Club, a post he has occupied for the past 25 years.

    Rebecca Weeks, 12, sixth grader at North Webster, won the fifth-sixth grade spelling championship Saturday during the Kosciusko County spelling bee sponsored by the Times-Union and Radio Stations WRSW AM and FM.

Rebecca won after spelling correctly "flabbergast."

    Elmer Funk, Don Cochran and Charles Butler furnished vocal numbers today at the regular weekly luncheon of the Kiwanis Club here. Dob Cochran and Dr. W.B. Siders were admitted to membership.
