    Matt Kloser is finally seeing the results of his years of work, study and community service - he's going to college next year on a full-ride scholarship.

The single recipient in Kosciusko County of the Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship, Kloser won a full-tuition scholarship to the Indiana college of his choice - Notre Dame.

    NORTH WEBSTER - Gregory A. Nance, 25, is the new town marshall at North Webster. Nance was sworn in at the town board meeting.

Nance filled the vacancy created when Charles Parker resigned to become director of the International Palace of Sports Foundation.

    Postmaster Eugene Felkner, of Milford, reports that he is losing pens from the Milford post office front counter.

Postmaster Felkner said people taking the pens probably don't know there is a $500 fine for taking government property.

March 8 1933

    A black Caracul lamb was born at the Wilbur Lowman farm, southwest of Warsaw, increasing the number of Lowman's valuable Caracul sheep flock to four. All of the flock but the new baby are pedigreed descendants of the four highly prized Caracul sheep brought to this country from Tibbits, Asia, several years back by Theodore Roosevelt. Lowman, who boast the only flock of this expensive sheep family in the state of Indiana, is making arrangements to have the lambkin, a pretty little animal with curly silk black wool, registered.
